“After many years of various destructive behaviours, being overwhelmed by negative personal influences and being plagued by dark moods, I decided to contact Rani for help. I had finally admitted to myself that these issues were generated from more serious roots than the regularly documented “quarter-life crisis” and that I need structured support and guidance to overcome this and start living free from depression, anxiety, self-criticism and the various emotional issues that had led to this gloomy existence.
Rani’s approach is very comforting and I always felt I was able to share my thoughts, feelings and worries in a safe environment. She gently encouraged me to address particular aspects of my issues, rather than forcing me to confront things I may have not yet been ready to face. The progression of the sessions seemed very natural and I always felt comfortable to move forward at my own pace. Rani used a range of different techniques but ultimately most sessions allowed me to explore, recognize and rationalize different parts of my consciousness and I gradually became aware of the elements that were holding me back. We then developed certain tools to manage these elements without re-engaging in any further destructiveness.
I now feel I am able to progress positively through life and I can cope well with negative influences, improve existing and future relationships, set realistic boundaries and be kind to myself. I believe I needed this guidance and support during those dark times and I am now able to avoid spiraling back into those terrible places.
