ABOUT
RANI
I have spent my life trying to understand what shapes us, what divides us from ourselves and what allows us to become more fully who we are.
I am a senior psychotherapist and clinical supervisor, and work as a Supervisor and Assessor of trainee psychotherapists at The Minster Centre in London. I have over thirty years of experience working with individuals, couples and families through some of life's more complex relational and psychological experiences.
For more than twenty-five years, I built my private practice in Geneva, working closely with the UN and international community. Now based in London, I continue to work internationally with people whose lives and relationships cross cultures, countries and systems.
Our inner worlds are shaped by our relationships, family systems, culture, trauma and the experiences we inherit and carry.
I am particularly interested in the places where these influences intersect, and how experiences of fragmentation can be understood and brought into greater relationship within ourselves.
At the heart of my work is the belief that, through depth work and the therapeutic relationship, greater awareness and integration allow us to live with more authenticity, vitality and connection, both within ourselves and in the way we meet the world.

WHERE RELATIONSHIPS, CULTURE, TRAUMA & IDENTITY INTERSECT.
My own life has been shaped by culture, difference and the experience of living across countries and systems of belonging. I am British, of mixed Indian, French and Polish heritage, and have lived and worked within different cultures and languages.
These experiences have made questions of identity, belonging, othering and difference deeply personal as well as professional. They have shaped my sensitivity to the ways our inner lives are influenced by culture, family, history and the systems within which we find ourselves.
For many years, I worked with expats, diplomats, UN professionals and international families navigating lives shaped by relocation, mixed heritage, complex identities and belonging across cultures.
Alongside my clinical work, almost thirty-five years of meditation and introspective practice have profoundly influenced the way I understand attention, awareness and the inner journey. I speak English, French and German.

THE INCLUDERA APPROACH
My work is depth-oriented, relational and collaborative. Psychosynthesis provides the foundation of my practice, informed by many years of working with trauma, unconscious processes, early developmental wounding and complex relational and systemic dynamics.
I am interested in the whole person, their unique set of qualities, differences and challenges. I am curious in the connections between mind, body, emotion, intuition and the ways we have learned to survive. By attending carefully to what is embodied and emerging within the therapeutic relationship, deeper patterns and dynamics can gradually become visible and understood.
Heritage, culture, identity, family history and intergenerational experience are integral to how I understand each person's life. The work is active and responsive rather than formulaic. Depending on what emerges, we may work with the body, imagery, creativity or different aspects of the self. The work follows what is most relevant to you and the process we are exploring together.
