About

I am a London-based psychotherapist and supervisor with over 30 years of experience. I specialise in working with trauma, identity, belonging, existential issues, relationships and depth processes that address the underlying dynamics that make us feel held back. I have worked extensively with expats and the international community of the UN whose cross-cultural lives  involve diversity, existential challenge, complexity, transition, and responsibility. My approach is integrative, systemic, transpersonal, and compassionate. I welcome difference of all kinds and embrace the uniqueness that each individual's life situation and needs brings.

My Approach

Alongside my international private practice working with individuals and couples, I supervise other psychotherapists and counsellors. I also supervise trainee therapists at the Minster Centre in London.

I specialise in depth-oriented psychosynthesis psychotherapy, working with trauma, intergenerational trauma, unconscious processes, early developmental wounding and addressing complex intra-psychic and relational dynamics. My approach is relational and rather than passive listening, is active and collaborative. We discover your unique circumstances together.

My work is in-depth and includes using creative techniques to attending to the deeper connections between the mind, body, emotion, intuition and survival structures. This deeper listening and attention allows for underlying dynamics and relational patterns to emerge and be understood. Cultural, intersectional and cross-generational influences are central to how I understand each individual’s experience. When appropriate, and if you are interested, we may use drawing, the body, intuition, imagery, chair work, guided imagery, and inner child work to discover what is emerging.

I have been working as a therapist with the UN, NGO's and the international community in Geneva for over 30 years. I am a supervisor to other psychotherapists and counsellors, including trainees.

I am interested in how systemic dynamics, culture, relational dynamics, conflict, trauma, and inter-generational trauma all shape and inform our embodied emotional experience, and identity. I am passionate about in-depth psychological process that integrate inner fragmentation, and how a greater sense of awareness and vibrancy becomes possible within a therapeutic relationship. For both individuals and couples, how we relate and the quality of our communication and capacity for connection, and what may interrupt these are complex arenas which I have specialised across multiple modalities.

My personal life experience has been orientated around cultural diversity, inclusion, intersectionality and difference. I am British, of mixed origin (Indian, French and Polish roots) and have lived in multiple countries and cultures. These inform my understanding of intersectionality, othering, identity, belonging, difference, and how these impact us interpersonally and intra-psychically. I welcome diversity of every kind and appreciate both the richness and challenges we may experience through it.

I have also explored the value of daily meditation for almost 35 years, and speak English, French, and German.
