IoPT & Family Constellations

Constellations and Identity Orientated Psychotrauma Therapy (IoPT) gives us clear insight into where we are impacted and stuck, without the need for long talking therapy. IoPT is a sophisticated and cutting edge therapy that gives us the opportunity to see the inner workings of our psyches, our family dynamics, our defences & the reasons for our patterns of behaving more clearly.

The aim of this approach is to help reveal where, why and how we may be held back, so that we can continue to connect to and develop beyond our survival structures into our deeper sense of self and our identities.

How It Works

In order to manage the impact of multigenerational family dynamics, difficult experiences and traumas, we often get disconnected. This inner fragmentation helps us to survive and find ways of coping which are often unconscious, restrictive and hold us back in some way. Some of our survival strategies may be subtle, such as keeping busy, staying in our minds and cutting off from our feelings. Others can be more felt, such as, addictions, physical and mental health issues, self destructive tendencies, avoidant behaviour, and not knowing or being able to feel who we are.

This method safely reveals to us where, how and why we may feel held back and what the next step may be in our process of transformation.

I have trained extensively and have been following the developments of constellation work for over 22 years. For the last 14 years I have completed multiple international trainings with Professor Dr Franz Ruppert, one of the world’s leading authorities in identity and trauma therapy (IoPT).

The Method

This method focuses on our Self connection, the inner workings of our psyches, and the healing and integrating of our personality structures, defences and experiences. This work can be done individually or in a group setting. The structure of your issue is set up in a confidential and non-judgemental space. Using the sentence of the intention method, we can take a deeper look at the unconscious dynamics and gain new insight and awareness into what holds us back and why. What is different about this method is the use of a process involving a more focused intention (a sentence) and a more intuitive, limbic and body resonance rather than only using the mind. No prior knowledge or experience of this work is necessary. It is experiential and you will be supported and guided. The work is always profoundly compassionate and insightful.
